When a broker submits a deal, they will be the 'management participant' on the application. A 'management participant' is someone who can then be included in Information Requests that are requested for that application.

As an assessor, it is important that you add yourself as a "management participant" to any deal you are working on - as this will mean you can then be included in Information Requests for that deal.

When you first receive an application from a broker, the Loanwriter and the Coordinator will both be the broker:

When you receive the application, your first step will be to open the Omni workflow for that application:

The first of your assessment process will have triggered, which will be to Allocate the Submitted Application:

Click on the Process to open it, and you will see the Task that needs to be completed:

Click open the Task. You will see:

  1. Instructions for the task

  2. Click Start to start the task

  3. Click go to Loanapp to launch the Loanapp record

Note that on the side panel, the current participants on the application are the broker, and each of the applicants:

This means that any Information Requests created on this deal can only be directed to these people.

When you launch the Loanapp record, you will see that the broker is the Management Participant; and is the current coordinator:

Go to the Management Participants section, and click ADD+

You will be able to add yourself by selecting your Role type:

And then your name. Make sure you also tick "current co-ordinator":

When you go back into Omni you will be able to see you have been added as the Current Co-ordinator (you may need to refresh the page):

Click PASS on the task to finalise the process:

When you go back to the main omni page, you will see:

  1. your first process "complete"

  2. your next process triggered

  3. and your status will have updated to "application allocated":

And if you go back to your application dashboard, you will now be the Coordinator; and the status will have updated:
