Permission Solution: Simpology Manager

Simpology Manager is what we call your whole Simpology world, or 'channel':

Within your channel you will have a number of functionalities, which may or may not be switched on (depends on what you have engaged Simpology for). Standard functionality of any channel is the ability to define roles and permissions.

This article describes the Sections of functionality that you can manage, when you select the Solution: Simpology Manager.

In Solution: Simpology Manager, you can then define Permission Groups. Permission Groups are ultimately what you allocate to Users. There are pre-set Permission groups, but you can create new ones as you need to.

For each of your Permission Groups, you are the able to set the access to each of the sections of your Channel. To set the permissions, you can choose to work through every section in one go by selecting "All Sections":

Or you can work on a particular individual section of the ecosystem by selecting it in the "section" dropdown eg:

The rest of this article will outline all of the Permission "Sections" you can set under Solution: Simpology Manager.

Alert

Sets access to the Alerts Section, which allows you to manage any automated Alerts and Notifications that are set in your journeys or workflows:

Users with this permission are able to access Account/Setup/Alert Setup:

Application Management

Sets rules on ability to access to the Application Grid, and to access/view/edit/manage Applications:

Users with this Permission are able to access Solutions Menu/Application Processing/Loan Applications. Depending on Permission configuration, they will be able to see All Applications, Applications belonging to their Entity, or only Applications that belong to the User.

Broker Management

Sets rules on ability to access/view/edit/manage broker profiles and sections.

Users with this Permission are able to access the Broker Profile section in Organisation:

Consumer

Consumer must be enabled for any party using Info Requests:

Dashboard

Sets rules on ability to be able to view and/or participate in your channel Dashboard.

Users with this Permission are able to access the Broker Profile section in Organisation:

Document Verification

Sets rules on ability to be able to access and/or use Document Verification functionality, which includes building and maintaining Supporting Docs verification logic, templates, and the Supporting Docs verification functionality.

Users with this permission can access Solutions/Application Processing/Document Verification:

General

Sets rules for access to key journey building functionality which include the Policy & Decisions Engines; and the Template Document section:

Users with this permission can access Solutions/Loan Data/Policy & Decisioning:

and also Account/Application Templates/Type Templates:

Menu Access

Sets rules on access to the different menus/functions in your channel. Note that if you are setting a Permission to have access to particular functionality, you also need to ensure you set the relevant Menu item to be available for that Permission:

If access to a Menu is not configured, the User will not see that Menu when they login.

Organisation

Sets rules on ability to access/view/edit the different layers of the Organisation menu item which is where you manage Individual User Profiles:

Sets rules on ability to access the Permissions section in your channel - and therefore manage roles and permissions across your users:

Product

Sets rules on ability to access the Product & Serviceability sections - and rules on ability to view/edit the Products/Serviceability logic of your organisation; along with rules on being able to access/manage subscriptions to your logic:

Supporting Docs

Sets rules on ability to access and use the Supporting Documents functionality on in the Applications Section.
