You are able to test Document edits in the Document Manager, without publishing the document itself. You can do this at any time by either pressing SAVE, then TEST; or pressing 'Test Doc' (which then saves your Document and takes you to Test):

This will take you to the Test Rig for Documents:

  1. Select Application Data - allows you to select a specific application/data to test the population of the print form

  2. JSON input data - when you have selected your Application Data, you are able to search and interrogate it to check the data in the payload that will be used for the test.

  3. Refresh Test Data - can be used to refresh the test data

  4. Generate Document - generates the test document to allow you to review your document design and mapping

Select Application Data

To select a specific application to test against, you simply need to add the APP-id the search bar. You are able to search by APP-ID or the "title" of the application. You are able to use any existing application in your channel:

Once you have entered in/selected an application, the selected application data will 'load' in the Test Rig:

And once loaded, you can then 'Generate Doc":

The Generated document can then be opened from your downloads.

You are able to test and retest your documents in this manner as much as you need to until you are ready to publish your document.
