As a Funder, you are able to share your Products to Mortgage Manager partners, to 'connect' their Products engine to your Products engine.

This will mean that your Mortgage Manager products are kept in sync with your Products as you up date them in any way: Rates, Fees, Features, Logic etc.

This is a powerful methodology to efficiently ensure your Mortgage Manager products are always up to date, as you publish changes to your products.

You will get a "Request" for subscription

Subscription to your products will be 'requested' by your Mortgage Manager.

(ie you cannot trigger the connection from your end, it has to be from the subscriber end).

When a Mortgage Manager requests subscription to your Products, your nominated Approver will receive an email notification that the request has been made. The Approver will then be able to go into your Subscriptions, review and approve the subscription.

Review a subscription request

Go to Account/Subscriptions/Data Subscription:

When you get to this section, expand the section Publish data - Who can see my data?

You will then be able to see the party (the Mortgage Manager) that has requested subscription to your data:

Key items and controls on the subscription request screen

  1. Collection. As a Funder/Lender, you are able to have any number of "Collections" of your Products.

    1. eg - you could have a Collection of Products configuration for Direct Channels that is slightly different to the Products you offer in Third Party

    2. Your Mortgage Manager will specify the Collection that they want to subscribe to when they request subscription.

    3. You can use this Collection dropdown to go to a different collection and see subscription requests to that Collection.

    4. If you have more than 1 collection, it is important that you have selected the correct Collection to see/approve your Mortgage Manager's request.

  2. Subscriber. This will list the name of the party that has requested subscription to your Products data

  3. Contact. The registered contact (and their details) in the Subscriber's channel

  4. Product Toggle. This will be toggled ON/OFF. If toggled ON (Yes) - then the Mortgage Manager has requested subscription to your Products Configuration.

  5. Serviceability Toggle. This will be toggled ON/OFF. If toggled ON (Yes) - then the Mortgage Manager has requested subscription to your Serviceability Configuration.

  6. Policy Toggle. This will be toggled ON/OFF. If toggled ON (Yes) - then the Mortgage Manager has requested subscription to your Policy Configuration.

  7. Allow All Products. This is a control that you have, as the Funder, to control which of your products the Mortgage Manager can subscribe to.

    1. Yes: will allow the Mortgage Manager to subscribe to your whole Products collection

    2. No: will give you the ability to select which product groups and even products your Mortgage Manager can subscribe to.

    3. Note that whatever you set in the first approval can be edited/changed in the future

  8. Edit. This control is enabled when you toggle the "Allow All Products" to No. It is the control to select which products you are allowing subscription to.

  9. Status. The Status of the subscription:

    1. Pending: Mortgage Manager has requested subscription, but it has not yet been approved/declined

    2. Approved: Mortgage Manager has had the subscription Approved. This means they are currently 'connected' to your products - each time you up date your configuration, the subscribing Mortgage Manager's own products will update

    3. Declined: A subscription request you have declined

    4. Cancelled: A subscription that was in affect, but has been cancelled.

  10. Approve. Clicking this control will approve the request. The moment you do this, your Products configuration will be 'available' to your Mortgage Manager to use in their channel.

    1. The Mortgage Manager Contact will receive an email notifying them.

  11. Decline. Clicking this control will decline the request.

    1. The Mortgage Manager Contact will receive an email notifying them.

Note Control 5, 6 and 7 are controls for Mortgage Manager subscription to more than just Products - also Serviceability and Policy. It makes sense, where you allow a Mortgage Manager to subscribe to your products, that they can also subscribe to your Serviceability.

Approve all Products, or Specific Products

When you get a request for subscription to your Products from a partner, you can grant them access to ALL your products, or alternatively to only specific Product Groups or Products.

Grant Access to ALL products

To grant access to ALL Products, you simply need to toggle Allow All Products to YES, and then click Approve:

(You will note the ability to Edit the allowed products will disappear when you toggle to Yes)

When you click approve, you will get an opportunity to double check before approving:

The listed subscriber will then be "Approved":

Grant Access to Specific products (less than all products)

To grant access to specific Products, toggle Allow All Products to No.

You will then be able to click the EDIT control, which will popup a new screen that is a list of all your products in your collection, broken down into 'Groups' and even 'Subgroups' that you may have configured in your Products Engine.

You are able to grant access to your subscriber to:

  • whole groups (and all subgroups and products within them)

  • specific sub-groups, within your groups (and all products within the subgroups)

  • specific products

Eg in the following screen shot, the Mortgage Manager is not allowed to sell the Essential Worker products, and so has been granted subscription to all products except those ones:

Once you have selected all the specific products, you are able to proceed to Approve the subscription:

Change Access Permissions to a subscriber

As the owner of the data configuration, you have control to change or remove subscription to subscribing parties when required. To do this, you need to return to Account/Subscriptions/Data Subscription:

Reduce a Full subscription to specific products:

If the subscriber that you want to change originally was allowed ALL products, but now will be allowed only specific products - then their approval will currently be like this:

You are able to toggle the Allow All Products to NO - this will enable the EDIT button and you can selectively edit the allowed products.

Once you've made and saved your changes, you do not need to finalise with Approve again...as the subscription is already approved. But your changes will be instantly applied to the connection (ie if you have reduced products, they will instantly no longer be 'connected')

Update a specific set of products to a full Set

In this circumstance, the subscriber would have "Allow All Products" set to NO. To change to ALL, you simply toggle the Allow All Products to YES.
