AMP has enabled an Access Seeker service to be requested on your applicants within the Loanapp workflow. Access Seeker is a consumer Credit Check that does not leave a credit inquiry footprint on the applicants' file.
Where you use the Access Seeker service, Loanapp will then populate the identified Liabilities into the Financial Position so that you can cross reference against your declared data and ensure you have included all liabilities.
It is really useful to you as the broker as you can ensure that your submission notes all existing liabilities; and you can be aware of any potential credit issues.
Where is the Access Seeker service in Loanapp?
The Access Seeker service can be found at the top of the Financial Position page in Loanapp:
When can I use the service?
Your applicants must have completed their Digital Consent and Digital VOI before you can use this service. This is because Loanapp must 'know' that your applicants have given consent and have been properly identified.
Do I have to use the service in my submission?
No. Access Seeker is an optional service, to be used as a convenient check of your applicant/s credit history and liabilities, if you want to.
How do I request the Access Seeker service?
When you have completed the Digital Consent and Digital VOI, you will be able to trigger the Access Seeker service. To do so, go to the Financial Position page; and click open the Access Seeker Widget. You will see that the service is "ready to request". Click "request":
The widget status will change to "requesting":
And when finalised, will change to "completed" (this should only take a few seconds):
What happens with the Access Seeker results?
You can download the Access Seeker Report
When the Access Seeker report is completed, you can click on the details button to download and review the Access Seeker report:
When you click the download on the PDF report, it will generate in another tab:
Liabilities identified in the report will auto-populate in the Loanapp Financial Position for review
Any liabilities that have been identified on the Access Seeker report will auto-populate in the liabilities section of the Financial Position:
This allows you to review the returned results and make sure that you have added (declared) all the liabilities in your Loanapp data.
The Access Seeker PDF will be sent to supporting documents
The Access Seeker PDF will also be sent to the supporting documents module and attach to the Access Seeker checklist item (which is not a mandatory item).
This is just a convenience, and good for you to know that you can also download from here. Note that the Access Seeker report can only be seen by you (the broker) - AMP will not be able to see the report.
π€© Remember that these liabilities are the same ones that AMP will see when they order a full Credit Bureau report. You can check and make sure you are declaring the correct detail in your application.
This is a great feature of Loanapp to help ensure you identify all current liabilities for your applicants, reducing rework once your application is submitted.
Note that Loanapp is configured so that only you, the Broker, is able to see the Access Seeker report. It is not made available and/or sent to the Lender.
