AMP Loanapp includes digital ID verification services to make it easy for you and your applicants to meet VOI Compliance in your submissions.

There are two different services - which you may or may not need to use in your application. This article gives you a summary of the services and how/when to use them.

Where are the Digital VOI services in Loanapp?

The Digital VOI services in Loanapp are at the bottom of the Applicants page:

There are two services:

  • The Verification of Identity (VOI) is a mandatory step for submission

  • The ID Document Verification is used only where

    • you have 'recalled' an existing IDVerse report (rather than ordering a new one)

    • It will automatically trigger once the existing IDVerse report is shared and attached to Loanapp

Is there a dependency to unlock these services?

Yes. Your applicants must have completed the Digital Consent in order for the Digital VOI services to be used.

What happens when Digital Consent is completed by your applicant/s?

When your applicant/s have completed their Digital Consent, three things will happen:

  1. The Digital Consent "Widget" status will change to "Complete"

  2. You will receive an email notification that the Digital Consent has been given by your applicant/s

  3. The first of the Digital VOI services - "Digital Verification of Identity" will become available for use.

You MUST complete the Digital Verification of Identity service

In the AMP Loanapp submission workflow, the Digital Verification of Identity service is a Mandatory service that must be completed for submission. It is the IDVerse digital VOI service. When you open the widget and press "request", you will see you have two options to make sure you pass this mandatory step:

  1. if you have already had your applicant/s identity verified by the IDVerse service, you can 'recall' this report and have it attached to Loanapp

  2. if you haven't got an IDVerse report already, you will need to now trigger the service from Loanapp.

Enter reference number - 'recall' an existing IDVerse report

  • You will need to 'assign' the IDVerse report to AMP

  • When you trigger the Digital Verification of Identity service in Loanapp, choose Enter reference number

Request from applicant: order a new IDVerse report

  • when you trigger the Digital Verification of Identity service in Loanapp, choose Request from applicant:

  • this will send an SMS to your applicant/s, and they will need to complete the service

  • as part of this fresh IDVerse call, the "ID Document Verification" will also be completed (ie you will not need to complete this from Loanapp)

ID Document Verification will auto-complete, or skip

The ID Document Verification checks the detail on the ID documents your applicant/s use in the Digital VOI against government databases. You will find that:

  • where you order a fresh IDVerse report, this widget will become 'skipped' when the Digital Verification of Identity widget is complete

  • where you 'recall' an existing IDVerse report, this widget will automatically run when the Digital Verification of Identity widget is complete

If you have ordered a new IDVerse Report

When you order a fresh IDVerse report in Loanapp via the Digital Verification of Identity widget, it will include the check of the ID document data against the government databases. This means, the 2nd ID Document widget is no longer needed, and will become skipped:

In fact, if you check the IDVerse report, you will see the GreenID outcomes are listed on the report:

If you have

  • Consent - completed

  • ID Document Verification - skipped

  • Verification of Identity (VOI) - completed

then you have successfully completed the digital VOI requirements.

If you have recalled an existing IDVerse Report

When you recall an existing IDVerse report in Loanapp via the Digital Verification of Identity widget, it will not include the check of the ID document data against the government databases. This means, the 2nd ID Document widget will need to be triggered. This will happen automatically, as soon as your recalled IDVerse report is shared with Loanapp.

You will see that the ID Document Verification widget will become "Completed":

And when you open the widget, you will see that Green ID has been verified:

If you click on details, you will see a PASS result:

So, if

  • Consent - completed

  • ID Document Verification - completed

  • Verification of Identity (VOI) - completed

then you have successfully completed the digital VOI requirements.
