Access and usage to each Simpology Module is controlled by Role Based Permissions. This article outlines the permissions needed for access and use of Pipeline

Where do I set Permissions?

Permissions are found in Account/Security/Permissions:

Solution: OMNI

Pipeline is the access to Omni Assessment Workflow.

When you have opened the permissions page, select

  • Solution: Omni

  • Section: Workflow

Permission Group

The Permission Group will be the particular permission group that you would like to give access to Pipeline. In this example, I am setting the Permissions for a Credit Assessor:

Pipeline Access Permission

The Permission that allows a user to use Pipeline to view applications for assessment workflows is "Pipeline Access". You will need to ensure this is switched to YES to give your user access to pipeline:

Pipeline Access Dependencies

Note that to get the best usage out of Pipeline, you would ensure this permission group has appropriate access to the rest of workflow - so you might have an overall set of permissions for Pipeline like this (will depend on what you want to allow):

⚠️ Make sure you SAVE!

Make sure you Save your new permission. If you forget to, you will be prompted to Save before leaving:

Connect this Permission Group to your User Profile

⚠️ The last (important!) step is to ensure that you set this permission on the User Profile of the person you want to have access to Pipeline

To add this Permission Group to a user profile, go to Organisation/People:

And once there, search for the person you want to add this Permission to:

Once in the correct profile, navigate to "Roles and Permissions":

Open this section, and add the permission you have just created or updated (Simpology Omni - CreditAssessor):

🤩 If your user already has that Permission - this will mean that their access will have already updated with your changes.

Remember to press SAVE on the User permission.

If its a permission for your own profile, it's a good idea to log out/login to make the permission work.
