Brands & Chains help agencies manage and filter suppliers more effectively. Brands are industry-standard groupings without a chain code. For example, Marriott is a brand. Chains are groupings that include a chain code. For example, Ritz Carlton is a chain.

In Sion, Verified Suppliers are grouped by Brands & Chains, making it easier to manage them based on established relationships. You can view a brand or chain profile to access bookings, payments, and valuable reporting information related to the grouping.

In this article, we’ll briefly go over what you need to know about leveraging the Brands & Chains feature.

View a Brand or Chain

Click Suppliers in the top menu.

Select the Brands & Chains tab.

Note: Any filters applied to Suppliers will apply to Brands & Chains unless cleared.

When you click on a Brands & Chain, its information will open in a window to the right. In the Details tab you can see the basic information about it.

The Bookings tab will contain a list of all bookings tied to that group and the Payments tab will show all related payments.

Click View Profile to see a full page with an overview of all data tied to the brand.

Filter Brands & Chains

Just like with suppliers, you can use the left bar to filter your results. Some filter options are not available for brands and chains, but most will remain.

For more information see the article Find and View Suppliers.

Using Chain Codes

Every Brand & Chain has a unique chain code that can be used to identify it. You can find a chain code by clicking on a brand or chain and selecting the Details tab.

Chain codes can be used when searching for suppliers or bookings in the Quick Search. For more information see the articles Find and View Suppliers and Find and View a Booking.

Brands & Chains Analytics

When you are viewing Brands & Chains, there are custom summary reports at the top of the page. Similar to Client and Supplier reporting, you can choose custom dates or quarters.

Any filters applied will also be reflected in the top analytics.

For more information on using the filters, see the article Supplier Production Reporting.
