Want to find one or more bookings or trips in Sion? There are two ways to quickly find what you need, we’ll go over them both in this article.

Note: Depending on if you are a host agency, independent contractor, or in-house agent, you may see different filter options. Not every user has access to every filter.

Global Search

The global search function allows you to look for any data from any place in Sion that matches your search terms. For more information on how to use it, see the article here.

Filter Bar

In the filter bar you have several options for finding bookings or trips. First, click Bookings in the top menu.

Next, select the Bookings or Trips tab based on the results that you want to see.

Now you can use the filters bar to change what’s visible in the queue. The filter bar is located on the left of the bookings page.

Note that at the top of each filter category, there is a gear icon. If you want to make an advanced filter, click the icon to select further filter options.

The ellipses icon will also show more options for selecting multiple filters at once.

Some filters will also have a magnifying glass icon that lets you search that section. For example, if you know the name of an agent you want to search by, you can click the icon and then enter the agent name instead of scrolling through the list of agent names.

Here’s a breakdown of the different filter options:

  • Filters - This is a search bar where you can enter a keyword, and results will populate in a dropdown.

    • You can either select an option from the dropdown and search specifically for that client, supplier, trip, tag, etc. For example, if you start to type Tim and then select the name Tim Whatley in the dropdown, only results matching Tim Whatley will show.

    • Hit Enter to search for any matching booking or trip for your search. For example, if you type Tim and hit Enter, you will see any results that contain the letters tim together. This can be helpful if you only know part of a supplier or client name or only a section of a set of confirmation numbers.

  • Dates - Use the gear icon, mentioned above, to change what dates you filter by. The filter selected will change this section's name. For example, if you select Created, this section will be called Created and will filter bookings based on the date they were made in the system.

  • Status - Filter by the booking or trip status as related to the checkout date and payment status. You can see more detailed options on searching by payment status by clicking the gear icon. For more information on statuses, see the article here.

  • Destination Search - Enter keywords to find bookings or trips based on their destination.

  • IATA or Agency Identifier - Use the checkbox to filter bookings or trips based on the booking IATA or other identifier.

  • Agencies- Use the checkbox to filter bookings or trips based on the booking agency or contractor.

  • Agents - Use the checkbox to filter bookings or trips based on the booking agent.

  • Agent Split - Select to view bookings that do or don’t have an agent split.

  • Commission Chasing - Click the gear icon at the top of the filter to see more detailed filtering options for commissions. You’ll be able to filter based on the following:

    • Delivery Status - The first set of filters lets you choose to view invoices sent, not sent, or responded to. With the detailed filtering options, you can also filter by what happened when the invoice was sent and what the response to an invoice was.

    • Dunning Status - This filter is based on whether an invoice has been paid or was disputed. With the detailed filtering options, you can also filter by the reason an invoice was disputed.

Changes from Supplier - This filter shows any bookings with changes that require your attention to approve or edit.

  • Invoice Type - Filter bookings based on the invoice type of the event.

  • Back Office - Filter bookings based on their sync status with your back office software.

  • Category - Use the checkboxes to filter bookings by the category event they are.

  • Source - Filter bookings based on if they were manually added to Sion or automatically added by an integration.

Note: As you filter bookings and trips, you’ll notice that the top two summary sections will also change. The revenue section and bookings section is based on what is displayed in the queue. You can also use Reporting to update these summaries based on specific criteria. See our article here on reporting.
