Sometimes bookings are part of a larger trip by a client. To help you keep the information together, Sion allows you to attach booking to a trip.

Note: This article assumes you already have an existing trip to attach bookings to. If you need to create a trip, look at our article here instead.

There are 2 ways to add a booking to an existing trip, from within a booking or from within a trip. Use the hyperlinks below to jump to the way you want to start.

Attach a Booking to a Trip in the Booking Window

When creating a booking or editing a booking, you have the option to attach a booking to a trip. Open the booking you want to add to a trip.

Toggle the Part of Trip switch at the bottom of the Basic tab.

Click the Trip tab.

In the Trip Name field, start to type the title of the trip you’re looking for. You’ll see results in the dropdown below the field. Click on the desired result and the trip information will auto-fill.

When you’re done click Save in the bottom right.

Note: Don’t see your trip in the options? You might have the wrong trip name or might need to create a trip first.

Attach a Booking to a Trip in the Trip Window

When you create a trip or edit a trip you have the option to attach bookings to the itinerary.

Click the Bookings tab at the top of the Trip window.

Type the name of the booking you want to add in the Search field. Matching trips will appear below. Click the booking you want to add to the trip.

When you’re done, click Save Trip.

Note: If your screen cuts off the bottom options of the window, try zooming out on your browser. Need help zooming out? See the article here.
