When you sign up to SIX you will be asked to verify your account.
This will include entering your personal details and details of your ID.
The most common forms of ID we use to verify accounts are Driver's Licence, Medicare and Passport but a full selection of ID options will be available when you enter your details.
Once your ID is verified, your trading account will be set up automatically for you. You won't be able to trade or participate in our shareholder activist campaigns before your ID is verified.

Sometimes your ID won't be verified on your first try.
Some tips to keep in mind:
Make sure you have entered your full legal name (you should be able to update this in the verification steps even if you initially entered your name differently)
You may need to provide details for more than one form of ID eg. Medicare card + Driver's Licence
When entering card numbers for your ID make sure you check the back of your card
If you don't have the most common forms of photo ID and your details aren't verified, reach out to our team for help and we'll work with you to figure out a solution
If your account isn't verified we'll do our best to help you finish setting up. We'll send you an email prompt but you can also get in touch with us with any questions.
We may request a copy of your ID(s) as proof of identification, you can send these directly through the SIX app or by emailing hello@six-invest.com.au.
