Security measures to protect your account when funding your Wallet

There are two ways to fund your SIX Wallet, using PayID and using your BSB and Account number. Both options require you to copy details from your SIX account to your banking app to complete the transfer.

When you start the transfer process with your bank, they may ask you to verify the details you are entering through a series of security questions.

The reason they ask these questions is to ensure you know where you are sending your money and to reduce the risk of fraud and money laundering. This is put in place to protect customers and their money. In some cases banks may block the transaction because they don't recognise SIX's details, to resolve this you may need to get in touch with your bank directly.

If you have any questions about your account or something doesn't feel quite right, reach out to the SIX team through live chat in the app or at hello@six-invest.com.au.
