When you receive shareholder letters about your SIX account, you may not recognise the bank account details listed.
Your SIX account is set up so that any dividends you receive from your shares held on the SIX platform will be paid back into your SIX Wallet.
The bank details that appear on this letter will show a BSB of 802-985, and a personalised account number which is linked to your SIX wallet.
Note that even if you’ve supplied your personal bank details for withdrawals, the above bank details will be registered for payments of dividends. If at any time you wish to withdraw from your wallet, you can do so via the SIX app.
Please note you won't be required to use the bank account details associated with your dividends or take any action as a result of the bank account details on your account being updated by SIX for dividend purposes.
If you wish to make contributions to your wallet in future, continue to use the PayID or Bank Details available in your SIX App when you press the ‘Add Funds’ button.
If you have any concerns or something doesn't feel right about your account, reach out to the SIX team in the app or at hello@six-invest.com.au.
