3D Mesh Quality Setting Slider

Updated this week

The Mesh Quality slider lets you control the balance between visual detail and viewer performance when working with 3D meshes.

How it Works

  • Higher mesh quality - sharper detail and more accuracy, but may cause slower loading times or lag - especially on less powerful devices.

  • Lower mesh quality - faster, smoother performance, but with less visual detail.

Best Practices

  • If your mesh looks rough or pixelated, try increasing the quality.

  • If the viewer feels slow or laggy, try decreasing the quality.

Finding the Sweet Spot

  • High quality for detailed inspection and accuracy.

  • Low to medium quality for smoother navigation and faster performance.

We recommend starting at the default setting, then adjusting based on your needs and your device’s performance.

How to Adjust Mesh Quality

  1. Go to Settings next to the 3D mesh you want to adjust.

  2. Switch to the Tileset tab.

  3. Under Refinement Quality, freely adjust the slider to the amount you want (Low quality = 1, Best quality = 64).
