Preparation
Select the Model: Ensure the 3D Tiles you want to export is selected in RealityCapture.
Colour and Texture (Optional): Models can be colorised and/or textured before export, which will allow you to include textures in the export. If you plan to include textures, make sure the model hasn't been simplified. Simplified models require retexturing if you plan to export textures.
Exporting the 3D Tiles
Go to Levels of Detail: Navigate to the "Scene 3D" ribbon, select "Tools," and then choose "Levels of Detail."
Choose Cesium 3D Tiles: When asked for the filename and filetype, select "Cesium 3D Tiles (*.json)" as the file format. This dialog below is shown when the Cesium 3D Tiles format is selected.
Remove Compression: Select "None" for the Compression option before completing the export.
Processing and Uploading to Skand
Export Completion: Once processing is complete, RealityCapture will save the output in your selected destination. You'll find:
A folder containing the geometry files.
A JSON file, located in the same destination.
Compress and Upload:
Select both the folder and the JSON file.
Compress them together into a single archive (e.g., ZIP file).
Upload the archive to Skand.
