Overview
Drip campaigns are automated messaging sequences designed to engage patients at key points in their care journey. Rather than manually sending messages, campaigns allow you to deliver consistent, timely communication based on predefined triggers such as appointment types or patient activity.
Once a patient is enrolled, the campaign progresses automatically through a series of delays and messages. These delays can be based on time (days), patient behavior (appointments), or a combination of both. This flexibility allows practices to tailor communication to match real-world care plans.
For example, a new patient campaign might:
Send a welcome message the evening of their first visit
Follow up one week later with educational content
Check in after several visits to reinforce progress
Drip campaigns are commonly used for:
New patient onboarding
Care plan milestones
Long-term wellness engagement
Condition-specific education (e.g., pregnancy, ADHD, chronic care)
Once enabled, campaigns run automatically in the background, helping ensure no patient communication is missed.
