SkinSwap lets you trade your existing skins or use your balance to receive Chinese Market skins directly through the Trade page. Everything happens in one place, and you don’t need a Chinese account or external site.
1. Open the Trade page
Go to: https://skinswap.com/trade
You’ll see:
Your inventory on the left
Skins you can trade for on the right
2. Choose what you want to send
On the left side, select the skins from your inventory that you want to trade.
You can also add balance if needed:
Trade skins only
Trade balance only
Or combine skins + balance to reach the item’s value
SkinSwap will automatically calculate the trade value.
3. Choose what you want to receive
On the right side, pick the skins you want. These include:
Instant items: Delivered immediately through Steam.
P2P Chinese Market items: These items are delivered peer-to-peer and may take up to 12 hours.
4. Complete the trade
Once you confirm the items you want to send and receive:
Your skins are sent instantly
Your new items appear automatically once delivered
P2P Chinese skins will show a pending status until the seller sends the trade offer
5. Refund Safety for P2P Chinese Trades
You are protected whenever the seller cancels or fails to deliver.
If the seller doesn’t send the skin:
The amount you paid is refunded automatically
Refunds always return to your SkinSwap balance
⚠️ Important: Reversing Accepted Trades
If you accept a P2P Chinese trade on Steam and then reverse it afterward:
The funds are not refunded
The item is removed from your inventory
The system considers the trade completed
This applies only to already accepted trades.
Tips for Smooth Chinese Trades
Check the P2P tag so you know which items may take longer
If a seller consistently fails or cancels, choose a different item
Using balance + skins together helps complete bigger trades
You can always cancel before the seller sends a trade offer
