The user(s) assigned the SuperAdmin role on a HUB account with the option to approve orders that are submitted by other HUB users. The approvals feature is designed to allow SuperAdmins to review and check orders before they are officially submitted to SkyWatch. It helps prevent any accidental or duplicate orders from going through, leading to additional charges to the HUB account.
To use the Approvals feature, the HUB SuperAdmin must reach out to their SkyWatch Account Manager to request it be enabled. The approvals feature is defaulted to disabled when a new HUB account is created.
How To Use Approvals
All users can view this section of the HUB account, but only SuperAdmins have access to approve or decline pending orders. If you cannot remember your user role, log onto your account and check the "Organization" -> "User Management".
In the "Approvals" section, the user will see three tabs to select from beneath the global map:
Pending
Approved
Declined
The pending list shows all archive and tasking orders that have been placed by HUB users who are not SuperAdmins.
Select the order under pending and the global map will move to the location of the submitted AOI polygon.
The SuperAdmin can then immediately confirm if an organization order already exists over the area. If it does, then they can decline the order to avoid generating a duplicate order.
To decline, click the "Decline" button on the top right side of the table. The order will then be sent to the decline tab and the user who submitted the order will be notified.
To approve, click the "Approve" button on the top right side of the table. The order will then be sent to the approved tab and the user who submitted the order will be notified.
Note: All HUB users should be made aware that if they have an order they want submitted to SkyWatch as soon as possible, they will need reach out to their account SuperAdmin(s) ahead of time. Until the SuperAdmin approves the order, it will not reach SkyWatch.
