Projects on HUB

The content in this article is only applicable to HUB users. If you are interested in learning more about HUB or wish to upgrade your account, please reach out to support@skywatch.com.

Projects is a feature in HUB that allows users to create different projects with different payment methods. They can then associate an order with a specific project which will improve their order management and billing.

Projects can be found in the Organization tab.

An example on the use case of Projects: you have two projects ongoing within your organization:

1) monitoring a mine in northern Canada, and 2) monitoring a mine in western Australia.

You want to ensure orders related to these projects are organized under the correct name, and are associated with a payment method that you have pre-approved for these projects.

A SuperAdmin can create a project (see the "How Do I Create a Project on HUB?" for more information) and assign the payment method so any order placed for these projects will only use the approved funds (preventing use of other projects funds). A SuperAdmin can also ensure team members assigned to the project are the only ones that can select the Project when placing an order.
