Are you ready to see a hack that can cut your billing time down in half? Let's take a look at how SLP Toolkit streamlines the Medicaid billing process and saves you precious time!

  • When in a therapy session, I like to spend the last few minutes of the session jotting down any notes or data for my student.

  • In the Students Notes section, I'll write a brief, subjective statement about the student.

  • Then I'll write any objective data I want to include in the Goal Notes section, such as the cueing level that was provided.

  • In the Group Notes section, I list what activities were used in therapy.

Now I'm ready to input my billing!

  • From the Agenda view I can select what information I want to copy over.

  • Then I simply click the dollar sign icon next to my student's name, pull up my billing software, and right click or use a keyboard shortcut to paste.

And voila - I'm done! It's that quick and easy to finish my billing in just a matter of minutes.

To copy your students' data for Medicaid billing, follow these steps:

  1. Click the $ icon next to your student's name on the Daily Data page. The dollar sign will be red if the student has data/notes within the event, and blue if not. Once clicked, a green check mark will appear, indicating that your student's data has been copied to your device.

  2. Now it's time to paste your student's data into your Medicaid billing software! Use the shortcut Ctrl + V (or Command + V on a Mac) to paste the data into your billing software.

  3. To edit what information is copied for billing, go to the 'Actions' button at the top of the Daily Data page and choose 'Edit Billing Template.' That should do it!
