No, mining rewards are not automatically deposited into your wallet. You need to periodically claim your accrued mining rewards to get them into your wallet
Long Answer
As part of the onboarding process, your HL100 will be connected to your wallet in the Helium Wallet app.
Helium has designed it so that mining rewards will accrue for hotspots in your wallet automatically. However, you will have to claim the mining rewards to get them into your wallet. This will incur a small transaction fee in SOL, so make sure your wallet is funded with SOL.

How to View and Claim Rewards
To see your accrued rewards, open the Helium Wallet app, go to the Hotspots tab and wait for it to refresh.
You can tap Claim all Rewards to move the rewards into your wallet.
Follow the on screen prompts to complete the process.
