My Issue: My sensor batteries need to be replaced

PLEASE NOTE: SmartAC.com sensors are designed to only use special high-capacity AA lithium batteries

1) Locate the sensor that needs the battery replacement.

2) In your SmartAC.com app you will need to verify the battery replacement. Click here to learn how to do so.

3) Remove the battery cover
a) Identify the textured area of the battery cover on the front of the sensor device
(this is the lower half, below the SmartAC.com logo with the eject symbol at the
bottom).

b) Place your thumb on the textured area, gently push and slide the cover off.

c) Remove the batteries currently in the sensor and replace with a fresh set of AA lithium batteries;
i. If installed correctly, the sensor light will briefly flash blue
ii. After a couple of hours, the SmartAC.com app should reflect full battery
strength under Account, Zones and Devices

4) Reinstall the sensor cover

5) Return the sensor to its original location
โ€‹
6) If needed, repeat steps 2 through 4 for any other sensors

Be sure to safely dispose of any old batteries and keep them away from small children
