How Does Engrain Map Integration Benefit Prospect Experience For Self-Guided Tours?

When the prospect has finalized or scheduled a tour, they will see a View Map button that opens the Engrain map, making their tour experience more efficient, enjoyable, and informative.

  • Prospects can Zoom In or Zoom Out by pinching their fingers on the map, or tapping the + and - buttons respectively to get a better view of the community

  • Since Engrain partners with the Property Management Systems, scheduled homes of the tour will be highlighted on the map

    • When a prospect taps on the highlighted home, it will open up a modal of whatever assets are included in the map such as floor plans, images, videos, etc.

    • The modal will also contain the pricing and availability, and other home information

  • Each amenity will be located on the map allowing the prospect to tap on the amenity marker (this could be different per client or per community) to view amenity images or additional information

  • The map will also contain a floor filter that can be used to view your homes if on different floors of a building (if only one floor, we will not show this drop down option)

    • If the prospect is touring a community with multiple floors, but only selects homes to tour on a single floor, we will default to that floor level

  • If a community has a geolocation map, a geolocation indicator will be on the interactive map that the prospect will have to tap to see where they are on the map (we recommend consulting with Engrain to add the geolocation feature)

    • Location services MUST be enabled for this feature to work and prospects will only be asked to enable location services a single time

      • If the prospect allows location by tapping on our button, Allow Location, and the services are enabled in the browser, it won’t ask the prospect again when they tap the geolocation indicator

      • If location services are not enabled, tapping a geolocation indicator will automatically enable the location services and provide the necessary access codes (the prospect won’t have to allow location a second time)

    • If the prospect is not near the community, their location will be unavailable until they get closer to or arrive on property

    • The blue dot will update the location as long as the prospect has the browser open with the map as location services in browsers don’t run in the background like they do on a mobile app, we can’t track every step or location of the prospect throughout the tour
