To set up your Brivo environment for SmartRent integration, follow these steps:
Creating Applications:
Log into your Brivo portal
Click Setup
Click Account
Click Account Settings to access the account settings menu
Select the Application Management tab
Note: If the Application Management tab is missing then contact your dealer or Brivo to get it added
Add Name: SmartRent
Add Description: SmartRent Resident Access Integration
For Authentication Type, select Password
Leave the Redirect URI: <blank>
Once created, click the info icon to gather the Application Details, Client ID and Client Secret
Creating Groups:
In order to sync SmartRent users into Brivo you need to create the following groups in Brivo and work with site teams to assign the appropriate doors to each group:
Residents
Staff
Guests
Deliveries
Vendors
Maintenance
