How Do I Add or Edit Multiple Yardi Credentials in SmartRent?

Organization admins for communities with Yardi integrations can store multiple credentials in the Organization Credentials page of SmartRent. This page helps admins and managers easily organize, track, and reference credential sets.

Adding Multiple Credentials:

To add multiple credentials in SmartRent, follow these steps:

  1. Click Settings in the left sidebar menu

  2. Click Integrations

  3. Scroll down to Yardi Integration

  4. Click Organization Credentials

  5. Click Add New Credential in the top right corner

  6. Input the Provider from the dropdown (or select Apply to All)

  7. Enter the Credential Name

  8. Click Save

    • If you want to apply the credential to all interfaces (GuestCard, Resident, and ServiceRequest) click the toggle next to Apply to All Interfaces

      • Interfaces are different areas within Yardi that a clients can store/manage different data

      • If this is toggled on, you will have the ability to enter the URL, Username, Password, Database Server, and Database Name to apply to all three interfaces

    • Leave the toggle off if you want to input the credential information to all three interfaces separately

    • When you have entered all necessary information, click Save

Editing Credentials:

To edit pre-existing credentials in SmartRent, follow these steps:

  1. Click Settings in the left sidebar menu

  2. Click Integrations

  3. Scroll down to Yardi Integration

  4. Click Organization Credentials

  5. Click the pencil icon next to the credential you wish to edit

  6. You will see an Edit Credential screen with the Provider and Name of the credential

Removing Credentials:

To edit pre-existing credentials in SmartRent, follow these steps:

  1. Click Settings in the left sidebar menu

  2. Click Integrations

  3. Scroll down to Yardi Integration

  4. Click Organization Credentials

  5. Click the red trash can icon next to the credential you wish to remove

You can only remove credentials that are not currently selected as the preferred credential at the property level. If you try to delete the active credential, you will receive an error message.
