There are many reasons you may want to adjust a door’s access mode. For example, there may be a spill in the gym that requires you to disable the gym door to all residents until the issue is resolved, or you installed something in a room that now requires that door to have additional security. The Alloy Access Web Portal makes updating your door’s mode quick and simple.
Updating a Door’s Mode:
To update a door’s mode in the Alloy Access Web Portal, follow these steps:
In Alloy Access, click on the desired site
Click Doors in the left sidebar menu
Click the name of the desired door
On the Quick Actions card, change the Temporary Door Mode from the drop-down menu
Set the duration for the temporary change in the Duration drop-down menu
Click Submit to save changes
Door Modes:
You have the option to change your door’s access mode to one of the following:
None
Disabled
Unlocked
Facility code only
Card only
PIN only
Card and PIN
Card or PIN
