Job Templates allow you to easily apply the same Jobs and Tasks to multiple homes/units (and even multiple communities) at once. This is a great option when retrofitting an entire community where you will need to complete the same installations in hundreds of units.
Creating a Job Template:
To create a Job Template, follow these steps:
Log in to the Alloy Install App
Tap ☰ in the top left
Tap Job Templates
Tap the + in the bottom right hand corner
Name your Job Template
Tap Submit
Tap the + in the bottom right hand corner
Tap Task Type
Choose the desired Task Type
Tap the Check Mark icon in the top right hand corner
Depending on the Task Type you choose, you may need to input or select additional details (i.e., when choosing Device Install, you will need to select which device to install)
Name the Task
Add a Description if desired
Tap Submit
Repeat Steps 7-13 for all additional Tasks
Tap the Check Mark icon in the top right hand corner to save the Job Template
Editing a Job Template:
To edit an existing Job Template, follow these steps:
Log in to the Alloy Install App
Tap ☰ in the top left
Tap Job Templates
Use the search bar to find the desired Job Template
Tap on the desired Job Template
Tap the + in the bottom right hand corner to add more Tasks or tap the ⋮ of a current Task to Edit or Delete the Task
Additionally, you can tap and hold a Task to reorder it in the Job Template
Deleting a Job Template:
To delete an existing Job Template, follow these steps:
Log in to the Alloy Install App
Tap ☰ in the top left
Tap Job Templates
Use the search bar to find the desired Job Template
Tap on the desired Job Template
Tap the ⋮ in the Template Name section
Tap Delete Template
Tap Yes
