How Do I Create and Delete a Job in Alloy Install?

Jobs are typically associated with a single home or unit and are used to help organize Tasks. For additional info, please refer to our What is the Difference Between Projects, Jobs, and Tasks in Alloy Install? article.

Creating Jobs within a Project:

To create a Job within a Project, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Alloy Install App

  2. On the Home screen, use the search bar to find the desired Project

  3. Tap on the desired Project

  4. Tap the + in the bottom right hand corner

  5. Name the Job

  6. Choose the Building and Floors if applicable

  7. Choose the Unit/Home in which the Job will be completed

    • Select multiple homes/units at once or tap Select All at the bottom of the page

  8. Choose a Job Template if applicable

    • Use the search bar to find the desired Job Template

    • Tap on the desired Job Template

    • Tap the Check Mark icon in the top right hand corner

  9. Tap Submit

Creating a Standalone Job:

To create a Job outside of an existing Project, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Alloy Install App

  2. On the Home screen, tap the + in the bottom right hand corner

  3. Tap Create Job

  4. Name the Job

  5. Set Scheduled Start and End Dates

  6. Tap Property

  7. Tap on the Property where the Project will be completed

  8. Choose the Building and Floors if applicable

  9. Choose the Unit/Home in which the Job will be completed

  10. Choose a Job Template if applicable

  11. Tap Submit

Deleting a Job:

To delete an existing Job, following these steps:

  1. Log in to the Alloy Install App

  2. On the Home screen, tap Jobs under the search bar

  3. Use the search bar to find the desired Job

  4. Tap on the desired Job

  7. Tap OK in the pop-up window
