Log in to your CRM (app.smartwiz.io)
2. Here, you'll see your home. You want to click on the clients button
3. From here, you can click on a client that has a filled return
4. To access a client's tax forms, you can the click on "View Profile"
5. From there, click on the "Smartsync" button which will show you instructions on downloading the data entry extension for the first time.
6. Click on "Download Extension"
7. You will be directed to this page:
https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/smartwiz-data-entry-assis/mmjaoplbcngpkdgekmjjcmehlkbpngph?hl=en&authuser=0 where you can download the chrome extension. Ensure that you're using Google Chrome as your browser.
Then click on "Add to Chrome"
8. Click on "Add extension" when you see the pop-up that says "Add Smartwiz Data Entry Assistant"?
9. For easy access, you can also open your extensions and pin "Smartwiz Data Entry Assistant"
10. From there, go to "forms" for the client of your choice and click on "SMARTSYNC"
11. You'll see it turn green and say "Copied"
12. From there, open your Smartwiz extension by clicking on the extension icon on Google Chrome and then click on "IMPORT FROM SMARTWIZ"
You can also click on the SmartSync button at the right side of your screen to open it up.
13. The data entry is successful when you see a green popup that says "The data has been saved to storage"
14. Now, sign into TaxSlayer and click on export after navigating to a new client's tax return.

As an example, this is how an exported W2 will look like. When you use a form, it will automatically be checked off.
Troubleshooting
Remember that for all Chrome extensions, you should be logged into an account. Attempting to use the extension on Incognito mode or a Guest account will not let you use any extensions. If you're not signed in you'll see "This item is not available"
Your extension might be outdated. Here's to get the latest version:
Click on Remove Extension and redownload it
Alternatively, you can also click on the puzzle piece icon and then click on "Manage Extensions" and click on "update extensions" and it will update all extensions that are outdated, including Smartwiz
Troubleshooting: You may be using the wrong link
We're currently working on the fix to the extension if you have TaxSlayer Pro under the url: online.taxslayerpro.com/provalon/Home
Our TaxSlayer Extension integration is (currently) only operable for cloudtaxsoftware.com
If you have an account where you can enter with that URL (containing cloudtaxoffice.com), the extension will open up! Either way, we're updating our Chrome Extension to support all TaxSlayer pages. We expect Chrome Store to update this within 48 hours.
