Step 1: Verify Bank Product Availability
Before proceeding, confirm that the newly approved SBTPG bank product is available for your state. If it is not, you may consider using 3Fund or Refund Advantage as an alternative.
Step 2: Navigate to Bank Product Selection in TaxWise
Open TaxWise and go to the Main Info page of the rejected return.
Locate and click on "Bank Products" to access the bank product selection screen.
Select the newly approved SBTPG bank product (e.g., 3Fund or an alternative).
Step 3: Complete the Bank Usage Form
Once you select the bank product, the Bank Usage Form will automatically appear. (Please see example below)
Fill in the required details based on the updated bank product information.
Step 4: Re-File the Return
After updating the bank product, proceed with re-filing the return as you normally would.
This should allow you to successfully submit the return using the newly approved bank product. If you encounter any issues, double-check the bank product availability for your state or contact support for further assistance.
