It’s recommended to perform a test print to ensure the paper is properly loaded before printing actual checks.
Take a photocopy of one of the checks received from the bank. This will be used to test the paper orientation in the printer.
Insert the photocopy into the printer and observe its orientation (e.g., face up, face down, etc.).
Once the photocopy is loaded and the orientation is noted, click Print.
After printing, check the test print. Does it look like a real check? Is it printed correctly, with the proper orientation? If everything looks good, proceed with printing a live check.
If the test print is incorrect, make another photocopy, reload the paper into the printer differently, and repeat the process until it prints correctly.
5. A list of available checks to print will be displayed. Each taxpayer name has an empty field at the end for entering a check number.
Take a check from the package and enter the check number in the empty "Check Number" field. This number is usually displayed in red in the top-right corner of the check.
Click the printer icon on the right to print the check.
A PDF of the check will be generated and will either open automatically on your screen or download to the taskbar at the bottom, depending on your computer’s settings.
Open the PDF of the check and print it by pressing CTRL+P to select the printing options.
