Troubleshooting: Unable to Transmit a Tax Return

If you're unable to transmit a return, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

  1. Return Not Marked as Complete

    • A return must be marked as complete before it can be transmitted.

    • Follow the steps in [this article] to learn how to mark a return as complete.

  2. Insufficient User Permissions

    • Your account may not have the necessary permissions to transmit returns.

    • Contact your administrator to ensure you have the required access.
