Where Can You Create Targets

You can create Targets from Targets Tab

Navigate to Targets tab using:

  • Dashboard shortcuts - Enterprise Level

    • Left navigation > Targets

    • Create A Target quick link

  • Through the Account Details page - Account Level


Create an Enterprise Target

  1. On the Targets Tab

  2. Click Add New Target

  3. Name the Target using the pencil icon

  4. Add holdings (models, securities, etc.)

    • New Targets start as 100% cash, so you’ll need to add investments.

      • Use the search box to find:

        • Tickers (stocks, ETFs, mutual funds)

        • Models

      • Click Add to Target

      • Each position will appear with 0% allocation

      Enter allocation percentages directly in the table.

  5. Assign allocation weights (must total 100%)

  6. (Optional) Add Sub-Targets

    • Click the hierarchy icon

    • Search for an existing Target

    • Enter the allocation percentage

    • Click Add

  7. Click Save Target


Create an Account-Level Target (Accounts with no Targets)

  1. Open Account Details (if known account)

    1. Open Accounts Summary > filter Target "No Target" > Select Account

  2. Click Create New

  3. Build the allocation -

    Follow the same steps to:

    • Add holdings

    • Set allocations

    • Save the Target

  4. Save

This Target is automatically assigned to the account once created

Key Insight

Enterprise-level Targets (Recommended)

  • Can be applied to multiple accounts

  • Updates automatically flow to all assigned accounts

  • Any changes will trigger accounts to rebalance

  • Best for scalability and consistency across clients

Account-level Targets

  • Created for a single account only

  • Do not impact other accounts

  • Useful for highly customized or one-off portfolios
