What are Thresholds?

Thresholds control when a portfolio is considered out of balance and when a rebalance is triggered.

How to Edit Thresholds

  • Open a Target

  • Toggle Advanced Mode

  • Click the pencil icon next to a holding or model

  • Update:

    • Rebalance Threshold (default: ±20%)

    • Precision Threshold (default: ±4%)

  • Click Update

Definitions:

  • Rebalance Threshold: How far a holding can drift before triggering a rebalance

  • Precision Threshold: How closely trades aim to match the target after rebalancing

Rebalance Cash Allocation

  • Click the scales icon on the Target page

  • Automatically adjusts cash to ensure allocations equal 100%

If overallocated, the platform will prompt a warning before saving

View Assigned Accounts

  • In the Targets tab, locate the Subscribed Accounts column

  • Click the number to:

    • View assigned account details

    • Export the list to CSV

Export Target Data

    • Assigned accounts

    • Allocation data

Key Notes

  • You can only edit Targets you created

  • To change the enterprise on a Target, you must clone it first

  • Targets act as the source of truth—changes should be followed by rebalancing accounts

  • Removing a Target does not turn off rebalancing automatically
