Rebalancer Overview

What does the Rebalancer do and How it Helps Keep Portfolios Aligned to Target Allocations

What is the Rebalancer?

The SMArtX Rebalancer can automatically monitors accounts for drift, provide a list of accounts to review, and generate the orders to bring portfolios back in line with their target allocations—while minimizing unnecessary trading.

Why Advisors Use the Rebalancer

  • Reduce manual account monitoring

  • Scale portfolio management across many accounts

  • Standardize trading decisions

  • Identify opportunities automatically (cash, drift, etc.)

What the Rebalancer Evaluates Daily

Each day, SMArtX analyzes accounts and flags those requiring action based on:

  • First-time rebalance needs

  • High or low cash levels

  • Position drift outside tolerance bands

  • Target updates
