SocialCrowd Mobile App Guide

A full guide on all of the features and capabilities of the SocialCrowd Mobile App.

The SocialCrowd mobile app is a participant companion app meant primarily for employees that work at SocialCrowd customer organizations. It is an all-in-one place for participants to view their campaign leaderboards, access their settings, get instant and relevant push notifications, and view and redeem their wallet balance for awesome rewards.

This article will detail the sections of the mobile app and its features, from Rewards to Campaigns to Settings.

Logging In

  • When you first open the app you will be prompted to log in. Simply enter your SocialCrowd email and password to access the app.

  • Upon first log-in you will be prompted to accept push notifications - which we highly recommend!

First Time SocialCrowd User?

If this is your first time logging into SocialCrowd, then you will likely need to reset your password. To do this, simply click "Forgot Password?" when logging in and you will be prompted to create a new password from your email. Once this is completed you can log in to the mobile app with your new password.

Rewards

  • The main screen of the app is the rewards screen where you can see your current wallet balance and how much you have available to redeem for rewards. If your organization has AutoPay enabled, you can enroll in AutoPay as well.

  • By scrolling down you can browse and search for over hundreds of gift card and reward options, as well as browse your organization's Custom Rewards store if one is available. In the image below we've searched specifically for a Target card, but you have hundreds of options to search or browse through.

  • When you've made your selection you then will be prompted to enter an amount. Available amounts vary by card type, with some cards only allowing multiples of 5, or 10, and others allowing you to type in any desired dollar amount up to the maximum you're able to redeem.

  • Lastly you will be shown a purchase confirmation step and once you confirm you will be immediately sent an email with your digital gift card.

Campaigns

  • On the Campaigns screen you will see a list of the campaigns you're active in and can click on any one of them to view more details about the campaign, including where you sit in the leaderboard.

  • There are two buttons near the top that allow you to sort and filter which campaigns display on the screen.

  • When you tap a campaign you will see its details appear in a bottom drawer and its leaderboard will display. You can toggle to view by participant or crowd, and can browse between earning windows as well as tap to see a full view of the leaderboard. Below, you can scroll down to see various campaign parameters as well.


  • Tapping the date range box will let you view a full list of all campaign windows so you can browse historical leaderboards as well. Any windows with a green check have been closed, while any with a grey circle haven't started, and any with an orange hourglass are still in progress.

  • Tapping View Full Leaderboard will bring up the full display of the leaderboard and show more details including all participants and crowds' earnings and their performance.

  • You can also browse each crowd or participant and tap on their card to view which crowds have which participants within them.


Settings

  • The settings screen allows you to view your email, as well as click in to view the app on a web browser, and lastly, to toggle on and off permissions for SocialCrowd to send you push notifications - we highly recommend keeping these on to stay up to date with your campaigns and know when you have earned rewards!

  • One last thing to note is in the top right corner you will see a small bell icon. Clicking it will bring up a list of any notifications you've received in the SocialCrowd app.
