  • Context: Removing an ambassador can be either be a temporary or permanent action. Knowing the difference between Reset and Unsubscribe will hrlp you choose the appropriate option based on your goals.

Reset vs. Unsubscribe Options

  1. Unsubscribe

    • Effect:

      • Removes the ambassador from the program while preserving their records (e.g., sales and points history).

      • The ambassador cannot rejoin the program in the future.

    • Use Case:

      • Choose this option for ambassadors who should be permanently removed, but whose records need to be retained.

  2. Reset

    • Effect:

      • Completely erases the ambassador’s data from the program, including points and sales history.

      • The ambassador can rejoin the program later using the same details.

    • Use Case:

      • Select this option when you want the ambassador to have the ability to reapply and start fresh.

Steps to Reset or Unsubscribe an Ambassador

  1. Go to Ambassador Management > Ambassador List.

  2. Use the Filter function to locate the ambassador.

  3. Open the ambassador's profile by clicking their name

  4. Click the three dots in the upper-right corner and select:

    1. Reset User Data for a reset.

    2. Unsubscribe to permanently remove but retain records.

    Note: This action cannot be undone, so proceed with caution.

Best Practices/Tips

  • Double-check with the ambassador before performing the reset to avoid accidental data loss.

  • Use Unsubscribe for ambassadors who will not return but whose contributions need to be preserved.
