Introduction
- Purpose: This article explains how to remove an ambassador from your program, outlining the options to unsubscribe or reset their data. 
- Context: Removing an ambassador can be either be a temporary or permanent action. Knowing the difference between Reset and Unsubscribe will hrlp you choose the appropriate option based on your goals. 
Reset vs. Unsubscribe Options
- Unsubscribe - Effect: - Removes the ambassador from the program while preserving their records (e.g., sales and points history). 
- The ambassador cannot rejoin the program in the future. 
 
- Use Case: - Choose this option for ambassadors who should be permanently removed, but whose records need to be retained. 
 
 
- Reset - Effect: - Completely erases the ambassador’s data from the program, including points and sales history. 
- The ambassador can rejoin the program later using the same details. 
 
- Use Case: - Select this option when you want the ambassador to have the ability to reapply and start fresh. 
 
 
Steps to Reset or Unsubscribe an Ambassador
- Go to Ambassador Management > Ambassador List. 
- Use the Filter function to locate the ambassador. 
- Open the ambassador's profile by clicking their name 
- Click the three dots in the upper-right corner and select: - Reset User Data for a reset. 
- Unsubscribe to permanently remove but retain records. 
 - Note: This action cannot be undone, so proceed with caution. 
Best Practices/Tips
- Double-check with the ambassador before performing the reset to avoid accidental data loss. 
- Use Unsubscribe for ambassadors who will not return but whose contributions need to be preserved.
