Introduction
Purpose: This guide explains how to access, customize, and manage email templates within SocialLadder to enhance ambassador communication.
Context: The Email Templates section centralizes all automated emails sent through the platform. Each template serves a distinct function, ensuring clear and consistent messaging with ambassadors and applicants.
Accessing the Email Templates Section
Navigate to Email Templates:
Go to Settings → Account Settings → Email Templates in the SocialLadder platform.
Find a Specific Template:
Use the search bar at the top to quickly locate a specific email template.
⚠️ Important: Each community supports only one language, and every email template consists of a single email body. It is not possible to create multi-languages versions of the same email within the same community.
You can drag and drop to arrange each feature of the email template as needed.
Overview of Email Templates
Generic Notification
Purpose: Sent to users who have opted in for email notifications.
Usage: Covers various notifications, such as:
New sales
New chat messages
New challenges
Parameters:
EMAIL_BODY
— The content of the notification, which may also be used for SMS alerts.
Rewards Redemption
Purpose: Sent to ambassadors upon reward redemption.
Usage: Includes redemption instructions set during reward configuration.
💡Tip: Keep this email generic to accommodate various reward fulfillment methods.
Parameters:
OFFER_NAME
— This is the Name of the reward redeemedOFFER_DESCRIPTION
— Configured reward description.OFFER_CONTACT_INFO
— Redemption instructions.REDEMPTION_CODE
— If the reward uses Automated Code Redemption, the system will generate a redemption code. Otherwise, a manual receipt code is created.TERMS_TEXT
— Terms and conditions for the reward.
Reward Receipt
Purpose: Sent to a designated team member when an ambassador redeems a reward (if enabled).
Usage: helps track reward redemptions via email notifications.
Parameters:
OFFER_DESCRIPTION
— Reward description.TERMS_TEXT
— Reward terms and conditions.OFFER_NAME
— Name of the redeemed reward.VENDOR_NAME
— Category of the reward.REDEMPTION_CODE
— If the reward uses Automated Code Redemption, the system will generate a redemption code. Otherwise, a manual receipt code is created.EXPIRATION_DATE

Ambassador Invite
Purpose: Sent to ambassadors invited through the Ambassador Invite section.
Usage: Allows ambassadors to join without needing an application or further approvals.
Parameters:
LINK
— Registration link for the SocialLadder account.
Applicant Accepted
Purpose: Sent to applicants once their application is approved.
Usage: Provides registration instructions for onboarding.
Parameters:
LINK
— Registration link for the SocialLadder account.
Welcome Ambassador
Purpose: Sent to ambassadors after completing their account registration.
Usage: Include essential onboarding details, such as:
Ambassador expectations
Payout schedules
Reward fulfillment timelines
Any other onboarding instructions
Parameters:
USER_NAME
— This is the name of the ambassadorPROMO_CODE
— If ambassadors receive a promo code during onboarding, it will be included in this email.
Applicant Rejection
Purpose: Sent to applicants whose applications were not accepted.
Usage: This email is only sent if the Email Rejected Applicants option is enabled under Advanced Configurations → Applications.
Parameters:
AREA_NAME
— Name of the community within SocialLadder.USER_NAME
— Name of the rejected applicant.
