Introduction
This article provides a step-by-step guide to connecting your SocialLadder account to Klaviyo using API keys. This connection allows you to leverage Klaviyo’s powerful marketing automation and email capabilities with your SocialLadder data.
Creating API Keys in Klaviyo
To connect SocialLadder to Klaviyo, you will need both a public and a private API key from Klaviyo. Follow the steps below to create these keys.
Log into Klaviyo:
Click on your name or company logo in the bottom left corner menu.
Navigate to API Keys:
Go to the Settings page.
Under the Account section, click on API Keys.
Create a Private API Key:
Click on the Create Private API Key button.
Name your private API key and select ‘Full Access’ permissions for Segments, Profiles, Lists, Events, and Flows.
Click Create.
Save the API Keys:
Copy the public API key displayed on the API Key screen.
Copy the newly created private API key from the confirmation page.
Adding API Keys to SocialLadder
Once you have your API keys from Klaviyo, you need to add them to your SocialLadder account to complete the integration.
Access SocialLadder Settings:
Log into your SocialLadder portal.
Click on Account Settings > Settings from the left-side menu and then select My Account.
Navigate to Portal Configurations.
Click on the Connect or Update button under External Email CRM Integration.
Update CRM Integration:
Fill out the fields with your Public and Private API keys from Klaviyo.
Click Update.
