Most Sociavore theme templates already include an Events Page Section on the homepage. But you can always add this section on any page.
To display upcoming events on a page section...
On the page you're working on, click the "Add Section" button from the sidebar.
Choose "Events" then click "Add"
Step 1 - Create and post Events from the Event Publisher.
Step 2 - Customize the Basic Settings
All page sections include the following basic settings regardless of which Theme template is used.
Section Title - enter a title for this section
Event Series Filter (optional) - when creating and posting an event on the Publisher, you can assign a category to the type of event you're creating. When the "show event series filter" is checked off, it displays a navigation menu with the different categories you've assigned to your event posts.
Number of Events - select how many events you want to be displayed
View All Button (optional) - when clicked, visitors are redirected to your Events Page where all your upcoming events are displayed. Make sure the Events Page is visible on your website, click here to learn more.
Step 3 - Customize Theme Specific Settings
In addition to the basic settings, each theme template has its own theme specific settings. Click the corresponding theme template below to see the theme specific settings.
