How do TAP commissions work with Soco?

How TAP links work and how they increase your commission without Soco taking anything from your payout.

Written by Basel

Short answer

A TAP link is a higher-paying link from a brand campaign. In Soco’s case, it’s a higher-commission link that we negotiate for you through official TikTok Partner Campaigns.

When you add a Soco (TAP) link, you earn the commission rate set by that campaign.

If the brand changes the rate later, TikTok protects your original rate for a period of time before any decrease takes effect.

Important to know:

  • These commissions are not permanently locked for the entire campaign.

  • Brands can update campaign commission rates at any time.

  • Soco never takes anything from your creator payout. We only earn from the brand’s side.

How it works

  • Soco negotiates higher commission rates directly with brands through Partner Campaigns.

  • We make these higher-commission links available to you inside the app.

  • Once you add the TAP link, the higher rate starts applying to new videos you post. Older videos keep their original commission rate.

Summary

TAP links simply help you earn more money. Soco negotiates these higher rates for you, and you always keep 100% of your creator payout. The higher rate starts applying as soon as you post new videos with the TAP link in your showcase.
