How do TAP commissions work with Soco?

A TAP link pays the rate the brand's campaign offers when you add it, that rate holds until the campaign ends, and Soco takes nothing from your payout.

A TAP link is a higher-commission product link from a brand campaign on TikTok Shop. When you add one to your showcase, you earn the commission rate that campaign offers at that moment, and that rate is yours until the campaign ends.

Where the higher rates come from

Soco negotiates higher commission rates with brands through official TikTok partner campaigns and puts those links in the app for you to add. Soco earns from the brand's side of that deal: nothing is taken from your creator payout. How does Soco get its higher commission links? covers the mechanics.

Which videos earn the higher rate

The higher rate applies to the videos you post after adding the TAP link. A video you already posted keeps the link and the rate it was posted with.

Can the rate change later?

Not while the campaign runs. The rate you see when you add the link is final until the campaign ends, and a change the brand makes later only reaches creators who add the link after the change. The one case worth acting on is a brand raising its rate after you added the link: your existing link keeps the old rate, and Can brands reduce my commission after I use a TAP link? explains what to do.
