How to use filters and sorting in Viral videos

Sorting, categories and filters in Viral videos open from the three-line button in the top right, inside the Search options panel, and the chips above the feed give you quick shortcuts.

Sorting, filters and categories in Viral videos all sit in one panel called Search options. Above the feed, a row of chips gives you quick shortcuts.

Open Search options

Getting there takes a few taps:

  1. Tap Viral videos in the bottom bar.

  2. Tap the filter button (three lines) in the top right.

  3. Make your choices, then tap Done at the top right.

From top to bottom the panel holds Sort by, Categories and Filter by. Reset sits at the top left.

Quick chips above the feed

The search field at the top finds creators, products, sellers or brands. Under it sits a row of chips: My showcase, Date posted and View growth. Under the chips, the category circles (Beauty, Fashion, Home, Health, Sports & Outdoor and more) narrow the feed to one niche.

Sort options in Viral videos

Sort by shows your current choice on the right. Tap it to pick one of four ways to rank the feed:

  • by views

  • by the product's units sold

  • by the product's sales growth in percent

  • by date posted

The first three each open a second menu; for views, that menu includes all time, 24 hours and 7 days. Flip the order with Low to high and High to low directly under Sort by. When you sort by date posted, the same switch picks oldest first or newest first.

Categories in Viral videos

Categories sit between Sort by and Filter by, with the same circles you see above the feed. Pick a category to keep the feed inside your niche.

Filter options in Viral videos

Filter by holds the rest. Two are quick choices at the top:

  • an on-off switch for GMV MAX only

  • a post type choice: all posts, videos only, or photos only

Next comes a date posted menu: last 24 hours, 3 days, 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, or all time.

Then four ranges, each with a minimum and a maximum box that reads Any until you type a number:

  • all-time views

  • the outlier multiplier, which has a small info icon beside it

  • the product's total units sold

  • the product's units in stock

Last is a minimum review score for the product: tap the stars to set it, and its own reset clears it.

You can use several filters at once. Tap Done to apply them, and Save current filters as new set at the bottom of the panel keeps the combination for next time.
