🛠️ Fixing the Google Play Store on Your Softbox

If you hold down the microphone button on your remote and say “Google Play Store” but nothing opens, here’s how to fix it.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open Settings

    • Go to the top right corner of your screen and click the gear icon.

    • (You can also press the gear button on your remote if it has one.)

  2. Go to Apps

    • Click Settings → scroll down and select Apps.

    • Choose See all apps.

  3. Show System Apps

    • Scroll down and click Show system apps.

  4. Find Google Play Store

    • Scroll down alphabetically until you see Google Play Store (it’s usually near the bottom).

    • Click on Google Play Store.

  5. Clear Data

    • Select Clear data → choose OK to confirm.

    • Once done, try opening the Play Store again.

  6. If It Still Doesn’t Work

    • Select Force Stop, then try opening again.

    • If it’s still not responding, choose Uninstall updates, then reopen it.

✅ When It Opens Successfully

Once the Play Store opens, you can search for and install apps directly.

Tip: Instead of using the microphone, click into the search box and type manually for best results.

Common apps to search for:

  • 🔹 iMPlayer – for your TV service setup.

  • 🔹 Surfshark – for VPN setup.

To install:

  1. Type the app name.

  2. Click the magnifying glass icon.

  3. Select the correct app from the list.

  4. Click Install, then Open.

That’s it! Your Google Play Store should now be fixed and working properly.
