How to Get and Set Up Surfshark VPN on Your Devices

1. Purchase a Surfshark Plan
Go to surfshark.com.
Select the Starter plan (best value option).
Example: $53.73 for 27 months (about $1.99/month).
Enter your email address.
Select a payment method and complete checkout.
After payment:
Create a password for your account.
Write it down or store it somewhere safe.
2. Install Surfshark on Your Devices
Surfshark works on phones, PCs, Android boxes, Softbox devices (3, Go, Buzz), and more.
Google TV / Android TV Setup
Open the Google Play Store.
You can say “Google Play Store” into your remote mic to open it quickly.
Search for Surfshark.
Select the app → Install.
Once installed, click Open.
Other Devices
Android/iOS: Search for Surfshark in Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Windows PC: Download the Surfshark app from the Surfshark website.
Apple TV: Search for Surfshark in the App Store.
3. Log In to Surfshark
On your device, open Surfshark.
Choose Log In.
Option 1: Enter your email + password.
Option 2: Scan QR code using your phone.
On your phone, log in with your account details.
Confirm you are trying to log in on another device.
4. Connect to a VPN Location
In the Surfshark app, select:
Fastest Location (recommended), or
Manually choose a location (e.g., US, another country).
Confirm the connection request when prompted.
Once connected, the app will show “VPN Connected” with the server location (e.g., Atlanta).
Optional: Save favorite locations by selecting the star icon.
5. Adjust VPN Settings
Go to Settings → VPN Settings.
Enable Auto-Connect.
Ensures your VPN automatically connects when your device starts.
Optional settings:
Kill Switch (stops internet if VPN disconnects).
Change default location.
6. Verify and Use
When connected, the app will display Connected.
If it says Not Connected, tap to reconnect.
Repeat setup on all devices:
Phones, PCs, Softbox devices, Smart TVs, etc.
