Written instructions:
Follow the steps below to install IB Player on your Softbox 3 or Softbox Go and activate your service.
Step 1: Open the Google Play Store
Pick up your remote.
Press and hold the microphone button at the top of the remote (usually a black button with colored accents).
While holding the button, say:
“Google Play Store”
The Google Play Store should automatically open.
Step 2: Search for IB Player
Once inside the Google Play Store, move to the top of the screen and select the magnifying glass (search icon).
Select the large search bar.
Type: IB
On the keyboard, select the magnifying glass/search button in the bottom-right corner to search for IB Player.
Step 3: Select the Correct App
You will see search results appear.
Choose IB Player — it should appear on the far left and display:
“IB Player”
Make sure you select the correct app before continuing.
If the app doesn’t look correct, go back and choose the proper IB Player app.
Step 4: Install the App
Select Install.
Wait for the installation to complete.
Once finished, select Open.
Step 5: Send Us Your MAC Address for Activation
When IB Player opens for the first time, you will see a screen displaying a MAC Address.
What to do:
Take a clear picture of the screen showing the MAC address.
Send that picture to us so we can activate your device.
Activation Time
Activation can take up to 24 hours.
Once activated, we will send you a confirmation message.
After activation, simply:
Open IB Player again (or close and reopen it).
The app will automatically log you in to your services.
You will then have access to DriveMob content.
Using DriveMob
Once logged in, you’ll see categories such as:
Live TV
Movies
Other content sections
DriveMob includes your live TV and sports-related content.
How to Switch Between DriveMob and LimePie
Your device includes both DriveMob and LimePie playlists.
To switch playlists:
Open IB Player.
Navigate to Change Playlist.
Select LimePie to switch over.
What You’ll See in LimePie:
Movies → LimePie movie library
Series → TV shows and series
Note: LimePie content will not appear in the Live TV section.
To Switch Back to DriveMob:
Go back to Change Playlist
Select DriveMob
You can switch between DriveMob and LimePie at any time using the Change Playlist option.
