How do I sell gift cards through Solo?

Instructions on how to set up, sell and manage gift vouchers through Solo

To sell gift cards through Solo;

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Click Payments

  3. Click Gift Cards and toggle on Sell Gift Cards Online

  4. Click Gift Cards are Valid For to set how long the gift cards will be valid

  5. Click Save

  6. Click View Page on Your Website to see the gift card purchase link on your site

  7. Once gift card selling is enabled, a gift card section will also appear on your website under your treatments
    ​

To set up messaging for gift card purchases:

  1. Click Set Up Messaging to customise the emails sent to gift card purchasers and recipients

  2. Click Gift Card Payment Receipt to create the email confirmation the purchaser will receive when they make a payment

  3. Turn on the toggle to enable the email

  4. Click Edit Content to customise the email the purchaser receives

  5. Click Save

  6. Click Gift Card Details to create the email that will be sent to the gift card recipient

  7. Turn on the toggle to enable the email

  8. Click Edit Content to customise the email the gift card recipient will receive

  9. Click Save

To create a gift card manually:

  1. Click Create Gift Card

  2. Enter your own 16-character code or click Generate Code for a random code

  3. Choose the gift card value

  4. Select an expiration date for the gift card

  5. Add an optional message to the gift card

  6. Enter the email address to send the gift card to

  7. Enter the email address for the receipt to be sent to
    ​

To redeem a gift card for a treatment:

  1. Click Add Payment

  2. Click Gift Card

  3. Select the gift card to use for payment

  4. Click Save to apply the payment

  5. The remaining balance of the gift card will appear in the Gift Cards section of the app

To view gift card status:

  1. Click Currently Valid to view active gift cards

  2. Click Used & Expired to view used or expired gift cards
