Set a cancellation policy

Having a cancellation policy in place protects you from lost income in the event of a last minute cancellation or no show.

Updated over a year ago

⚠️ You can only enforce a cancellation policy if you request payment in advance of a booking. If a booking is cancelled, you can choose if you wish to enforce the policy. You are responsible for refunding your customer if they cancel outside of your cancellation window or if you do not wish to enforce your cancellation policy

Follow the steps below to set a custom cancellation policy for your business:

  1. Click on settings

  2. Click on payments

  3. Select cancellations

  4. Here you can set your custom cancellation policy
✏️ - you can amend your cancellation policy on a per booking basis within the booking itself

  5. Input your desired cancellation policy and click save

Cancel

Example cancellation policies

"You will receive a full refund if you cancel outside of 24 hours of the booking start time"

"You may cancel free of charge up until 12 hours of the booking start time. After this time, a 100% cancellation fee will apply"

"You can cancel for free up to 24 hours before your appointment. After this time bookings cancelled within 24 hours will be charged at 50% and bookings cancelled within 12 hours will be charged in full."
