Clicking the + button opens a menu with all the options you need to create new items in your Songspace account. You can create a new song, a new playlist folder, add recordings, or upload files.
New song
This will open up a modal where you can name your new song.
After naming your new song, you will be taken to the song project page to continue editing your new song.
New playlist folder
This will open up a modal where you can name your new playlist folder.
After naming your new playlist folder, it will appear in your sidebar according to the alphabet.
Note: If you're already in a playlist, clicking this option will create a subfolder that will be nested under the one you're currently viewing.
New team catalog
Note: this option is only available for Business users.
This will open up a modal where you can name your new team catalog. You can also share a primary catalog, which will turn a user's "My songs" into a team catalog that other users can be granted access to.
New pitch
This will open up a modal where you can name your new pitch and select your desired preferences for that pitch.

Add recordings
This will open up a modal that allows you to select recordings from your computer, your catalog, Soundcloud, Spotify, YouTube, and box.
After uploading recordings, you can choose to create one song out of all of the recordings, one song for each recording, or to just add the recordings to the playlist. If you choose to add the recordings to the playlist, you will find these in the Recordings tab.
Note: If you're already in a playlist, clicking this option will upload the recordings to the selected playlist.
Upload files
This will open up a modal that allows you to browse and upload files directly from your computer.
Note: Selecting audio files from this option will start the song creation process.
New release
This will open up a modal that allows you to give your new Release a title.
New Smart Playlist
Note: this option is only available for Business users.
