We’ve made an exciting change that marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Community Pharmacy marketplace. This article will walk you through what’s happening, how it impacts your day-to-day work, and a few key updates to be aware of.
What's happening?
We’ve officially transitioned from catandclaudias.com.au to communitypharmacyonline.com.au.
This change is the starting point for building the Community Pharmacy marketplace - an initiative designed to connect everyday customers with their local pharmacies while maintaining a seamless shopping and order fulfilment experience.
How does this impact my day-to-day?
In short, very little changes to your daily workflow.
Customer experience remains familiar: Customers will continue to browse and shop as usual, either by searching independently or through Google Ads.
Orders still appear in SparrowHub: Once an order is placed, it will show up in SparrowHub for processing like before.
Shipping methods are unchanged: Customers can still choose from:
Australia Post Standard
Australia Post Express
DoorDash (if applicable)
Click & Collect
Amazon orders continue as normal: Customers can still order via Amazon, and those orders will also be processed through SparrowHub.
What has changed?
Product search on the website
Currently, the website doesn’t support a search bar. This is temporary, and a search function will be added soon. In the meantime, if you need to find a product listed on the website, here are your options:
Option 1: Use Category and Brand Filters
Navigate through the product listings on the website by selecting categories or brands.
Option 2: Use the Google Sheet
We have created a Google Sheet that includes every product listed on the website. You can use the sheet to search for products, find the product page on the website as well as important product information including barcodes, SKU, supplier and supplier codes.

Processing Refunds
Refunds can no longer be issued directly through SparrowHub for now. Instead, they must be processed via Tyro.

Accessing Important Customer Links
While we work on building key pages (e.g. services), important tools for customers are accessible via the Intercom Help Widget - the icon in the bottom right corner of the website.
From there, your customers can access:
The compounding order form
The link to purchase e-scripts online
The MedAdvisor link for booking services such as vaccinations
Feel free to guide customers to this widget for anything they may need.
