Here’s a quick guide to when Lives can be edited.
Entry Lives (Buybacks/Mulligans):
• No entries made: Editable
• Entries made, before contest start: Editable up until 48 hours before the first game (24 hours for Daily Survivor)
• After contest start: Not editable
• Self-managed: Same as paid contests
• Self-managed detailed: Commissioners in self-managed contests can assign Buybacks manually after weekly game slates conclude, but not while games are in progress.
Notes:
• “Slate in progress” means games in that slate have started.
• If you don’t see an option, it’s likely outside the edit window or not supported for self-managed.
Additional tips: In self-managed NFL Survivor pools, revivals are only available post-slate and cannot be assigned while games are active.
Where to edit these settings:
1. Go to your Commissioner tab
2. Select Active
3. Click Manage on the contest
4. Open Contest Settings
Then navigate to Settings, where Buybacks can be enabled or adjusted as required before the contest begins.
